Amber Jackson is a resident of Pittsburgh’s Strip District who learned American mahjong and immediately started wondering why she couldn’t find a local mahjong game in one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the city. That question became Strip Mahj, a mahjong community that’s inclusive by design and creates mahjong game night experiences that reflect the neighborhoods where we work and live.
Amber is a certified Oh My Mahjong instructor, offering regular social open play nights and beginner 101 lessons across the Strip, Downtown, and Lawrenceville. Her teaching style is vibrant, inviting, and low-pressure. One thing for certain and two for sure - you’re going to smile and have a good time at a Strip Mahj event!
